What Would You Do For Free Blueberries?

The things I will do to get something for free! We climbed Mt. Baldy last week in hopes of some delicious blueberries. I underestimated the rainstorms here. Jesse wanted to turn back after it started to rain but I was obsessed with picking blueberries. When we reached the top there were blueberries galore. Delicious....no. I was expecting Costco quality blueberries. We literally slid down the mountain on our way back to the jeep. It was definitely a hike to remember. We were covered from head to toe in mud, any boys dream! Thanks for the ponchos mom.

Oh my heck! You are a brave family! I don't think I would climb a mountain for free blueberries, maybe strawberries though. Were any of them good?

That's awesome! You guys look so cute all wet and muddy. Bummer that the blueberries weren't that great but what an adventure.

You are a trooper!! Too bad the blueberries were a disappointment, that may have put me over the edge.

Brook, you are too cute! At least everyone looks like they are happy, even if the blueberries weren't worth it.

way fun activity despite the out come of no blueberries. Sounds like you guys are having fun and the boys appear to be loving it. Funny, it is an activity that totally sounds like you...can't wait to hear of others...!

Brooke,
I just found your blog & I was so excited to see what you and your cute family are up to. You are in Alaska? My brother & sister-in-law live in Palmer. They are great, you should get together with them sometime. I have a blog, but it is private. If you want an invite just send me an email at jackieleishman at yahoo dot com. I'm so glad that I found you,

But doesn't that make for a good story and excellent pictures! :) Mt. Baldy is quite the hike dry - GOOD JOB! I can imagine you sliding down. Good to know the blueberries are not Costco quality there!! They were really tasty on DeArmon and big, big where we went in Whittier - but all are a sacrifice...with a story! :)
I can't believe you won free groceries - that is awesome! Let me know if you come this way or if we go yours; we need to get together soon!

It looks like you guys had a blast!

My boys have been asking about your boys. I had to break the news that you moved and it is too far to drive for a play date.

What a fun adventure! Last time I hiked a mountain it was to light the "B" and this definetly sounds way more fun, rain and all. Glad you are surviving in Alaska. Are you coming home at all during Christmas time?
