Santa Monica Pier and Interview

Last week Jesse had an interview at UCLA. I decided to tag along with the boys. Jesse told me multiple times that I was not invited on this interview. I was told this while Drew was throwing up in the dental school waiting room and as they were throwing their tantrums. It's hard to understand why he wouldn't have wanted us there. Anyways, that was my first time visiting LA and I don't know how I feel about the place. Traffic is HORRIBLE and I didn't feel like I belonged. While Drew was throwing up in the Dental clinic everyone just stared at us and didn't offer to help. That would not happen here. I think people here in Las Vegas are typically pretty nice and helpful. Besides the normal drama that comes with Children we had a great time at the beach.

Halloween

THese are late like always! Matthew and Drew had a good Halloween this year. They liked trick-or-treating, but would have preferred to stay home and hand out the candy.

Matthew's Interview

I copied this from Erica's blog. Matthew was a bit annoyed and informed me that he "Did not have enough energy to do this." Somehow I got him to cooperate and it was pretty funny.

1. What is something mom always says to you? Nice Things

2. What makes mom happy? When I help Drew

3. What makes mom sad? When I fight

4. How does your mom make you laugh? When she tickles me

5. What was your mom like as a child? Liked toys

6. How old is your mom? 26( I just had my birthday 27 now, close)

7. How tall is your mom? I don't know, do you know mom?

8. What is her favorite thing to do? trick or treat! (That's right. I love candy!)

9. What does your mom do when you're not around? sleep

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? No more mom, I'm done

11. What is your mom really good at? doing cartwheels. (I haven't done these for years and I just about killed myself. Matthew was impressed)

12. What is your mom not very good at? Fixing things

13. What does your mom do for her job? Takes care of babies

14. What is your mom's favorite food? chicken (I am a very healthy eater)

15. What makes you proud of your mom? You go to work to make money for chuckecheese

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be? Scooby

17. What do you and your mom do together? Play

18. How are you and your mom the same? We are not the same

19. How are you and your mom different? We are from different families

20. How do you know your mom loves you? I don't know

It's kind of scary how much your children really do know at this age. Matthew is starting to say the funniest things. I need to start being a little more careful what I say and do.

Tagged by Erica

I am a little slow at getting around to my tag from Erica. I am suppose to post the fourth picture in my fourth folder so here it is. This picture was taken the night Ken and Natalie got engaged. I think. Ken and Nat have been so good about coming to visit us while we've been here. Ken probably makes his visits here to gamble, but we enjoy having him anyways. He has a free place to stay after all his money is blown! We are glad that Ken is a part of our family. The picture of Ken and Jesse changing Matthew's first diaper is the first time I met Ken. Seems like forever ago.

Matthew's First Day of Preschool

I have been waiting 4 years for this day! Matthew loves his preschool class. His teacher, Mrs. Aubrey is the best and Matthew adores her. Drew and I are enjoying our Tuesday and Thursday afternoons together. It is very peaceful when Matthew is away. Drew is able to play with Matthew's toys without the fear of being attacked from behind. They are a lot easier to care for when separated.

California

Our trips are never long enough when we visit Southern California. I have been sucked into Disneyland and truly believe it is the most Magical place on earth. I don't know who enjoys it more me or my children. Jesse is just a good sport and follows me to Disneyland whenever I want to go. My kids loved going with the pickup kids. Thanks Pickups for a good time at disneyland. hope there are more trips to come!

We love this beach. I think it is called little Corona Del Mar but I am not sure about that. Matthew and Drew loved it here. This picture looks like they actually like each other. I wish it wasn't just a pose for a picture

Macee and Matthew loved climbing inside the California letters. They were able to go on just about every ride inside Disney and DCA. They were brave and rode the Tower of Terror together.

Drew is an official Buzz fan now! He wanted to follow Buzz everywhere

More Pirate House Pictures

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!

In response to all of your questions, no, the Pirate Mansion is not open to the public for rentals. The founder of NU SKIN owns this place and uses it for his business people and VIP friends. No, I am not a VIP friend. I am just a leach off the Reeder famil. I stole these pictures from Jacque's blog. Nice photography Jacque!

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Pirates Life for Me!

We were fortunate enough to stay at the "Pirate Mansion" in Boulder City again this year with the Reeder family. We love the Reeder family and always have such a wonderful time with them. Thanks for the awesome trip. For those of you who don't know about this place. I will attempt to describe it. Our friends from Brigham City have a friend who owns this place in Boulder city. There are the funnest pools with super fast water slides. The whole place is pirate themed. He supposedly bought a lot of the props from the old Pirates of the Carribean at Disneyland and Treasure Island here in Vegas. It is amazing. It is like having a huge resort to yourself.

We all enjoyed unlimited free ice cream cones while we were there.

I will post more pictures of the slides when I get the pics from my mom.

Disneyland

The tea cups were Drew's favorite ride.
Jesse and I have discovered that we can steal our neighbors internet by sitting on our front porch! This is the best deal I've found yet in internet service. SHH don't tell.

I am the world's worst blogger. I always use the excuse that my kids keep me too busy. Well, they have been in Utah with their grandparents for a week and I still haven't blogged til now. I really am updating this to put Rachael's new feature on her blog to the test! As I mentioned before my mom drove the kids back to Utah after visiting here and has had them since last Friday! I know I am spoiled. I can't believe how much one can accomplish without kids. I am a bad mom and I don't even miss them yet. I am sure it is about to hit. Let's start with our trip to Disneyland. This trip was so much fun. Matthew and Drew loved Disneyland and loved Knotts berry farm. The lines were fairly short and we got our money's worth. Matthew was able to ride all the rides at Disneyland with the exception of Indiana Jones. He is crazy and didn't get scared on any of the rides.

I WILL POST AGAIN ANOTHER DAY. POSTING THIS WAS VERY PAINFUL WITH DIAL UP. THIS TOOK ME 35 MINUTES. I WILL RETURN PROMISE. MANY MORE PICS TO POST. ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR THE BEST RATES FOR HIGH SPEED?
