Denali National Park and Matthew's 6th Bday

Once a year in September there is a lottery to drive through Denali National Park. If you don't have this lottery pass you have to ride in school buses in order to see Denali. Our dear friends, the Dekays, were so generous and gave us one of their lottery passes. I hear they are hard to get so we were very fortunate. We had amazing weather, beautiful views of Denali, a nice, free cabin to stay in, good friends, and good wildlife viewing. This was by far my best Alaska experience.

Matthew lost his third tooth on his birthday just as he did last year

Matthew and Drew had so much fun with their friends Lauren and Carson. Thank you Waite family for the good times!

Brooke, what a small world. I think I know your friends the Dekays. I roomed with Jennifer Dekay at BYU. Too funny. What a fun trip! Happy Birthday Matthew! (I can't believe he is 6, where has the time gone?)

That is awesome that you actually got to drive! It was fun to visit with you while I was up there! I forgot to tell you that the little train thing is fun, but the transportation museum is overpriced. But chances are it will be closing down soon because you will be snowed on shortly, ha ha. One more winter and then you are done!
